Exchange vows on our open-air grass field as the sky turns over the jungle canopy, then carry the celebration into a candlelit reception under the stars. Castillo Colonial is a private, multi-day destination wedding, not a rented-out afternoon.
Where everyone stays: the villas sleep up to 32 guests onsite. For larger celebrations, our team manages adjacent villas within walking distance, comfortably hosting up to 70 total.

Package prices cover the venue and event services for your celebration. Lodging, chef service, and adjacent villas for larger groups are quoted separately based on your guest count and dates.
Wedding bookings include a minimum four-night stay, so your wedding is a full weekend rather than a single day. There is time to settle in, rehearse, celebrate, and recover together before everyone travels home.
All events hosted between May 1 and November 30 require a tent for the reception, since these months fall in Costa Rica's rainy season. Our team helps arrange this as part of your planning.
A refundable $3,000 security deposit is required prior to arrival. Many couples choose our optional $119 damage protection policy instead, which covers up to $5,000 in accidental damages for added peace of mind.
The estate offers 10 dedicated parking spaces on site, with additional parking in the gated community nearby. For attendees staying off site, we recommend private shuttle transportation to Castillo Colonial. Our concierge team can coordinate trusted local providers.
Outdoor amplified music concludes at 10pm, out of respect for the peaceful residential community around us. The celebration is welcome to continue indoors after that.
We ask that decor and furniture be returned to their original placement. A $250 post-event exterior cleaning fee covers restoring the gardens, terraces, and gathering spaces the following morning.
